Day8Return to the UKPorto, Portugal
Saturday, 29 June 2019
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Porto Airport for your flight home.
The magnificent Emerald Radiance, custom-built for river cruises along the Douro, is an intimate ship holding just 112 guests.
You'll love watching the Portuguese countryside roll by from Emerald Radiance's open-air Sun Deck or the comfort of your Emerald Stateroom.
The ship is modern and comfortable, with well-designed cabins and excellent amenities. There are 10 different types of cabin, arranged over three decks. The majority of cabins have big windows, which slide down to create a "balcony" effect - with plenty of natural light. All cabins have en suite bathrooms with toiletries provided, TVs, minibars, hairdryers, safes, and very comfortable beds with fluffy duvets.
The restaurants and reception are sleek and minimalist, with a cream-and-coffee colour scheme and luxe touches like chandeliers, artworks and huge fresh flower displays.
At mealtimes, take your pick from two on-board restaurants: Horizon Bar and Lounge (breakfast and light snacks for lunch); and Reflections (big breakfast and lunch buffets, and a la carte dinner). Wine and beer are complimentary with meals, and the atmosphere is casual: there's no need to dress for dinner.
