This exclusive tour transports you from China's beguiling past to its bold and fascinating future through 15 days of unforgettable experiences

With a civilisation spanning over 5,000 years, China is one of the world's most fascinating destinations. It's also home to such iconic sights as the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army in Xian, the mighty Yangtze River and the modern metropolis of Shanghai.

Our first Great Tour of China was such a success it completely sold out, which is why we've partnered with the UK's leading Asia specialist, Wendy Wu Tours, to bring it back by popular demand for 2018.

woman&home readers who visited China with us last year said: "It was a great tour - good value with first-class guides."

Once again our Great Tour leaves in September, which is the absolute best time to visit China - cooling breezes ease the sweltering heat in Beijing, the rainy season comes to an end in Shanghai and the forests around the Great Wall are a riot of autumn colours.

Plus this time we've included Hong Kong at the end of the tour so you can explore the blend of Chinese and British traditions in one of the most exciting cities in the world. There is one optional extra experience already included in the price, which is already packed full of amazing activities (see the itinerary for your choices). So if China and Hong Kong have always been on your bucket list, now's your chance to tick them off in style!
